The Joys of Sharing: Tools To Allow You To Share Easily Online
We live in awesome times where sharing online is so easy now including the three biggest social networking sites Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus at your disposal. Social sharing is now the norm unlike in years past when sharing online was frowned upon by many. Most people did not know what to share and; for those bold enough, did not know where to share and who would listen.
Thanks to rapidly advancing technology, we are now able to easily share with friends and family no matter where we may be. Whether it be a status update, video, a photo, a news story, inspirational quote or just a thought; sharing online is so easy now via the web as well as on mobile phones. Since we are both super active online, we discover so many awesome online tools and would like to share three that we find useful and fun to use.

We are both active on social media. We enjoy the interaction and the sharing. One social networking platform that we have been learning to use is Google Plus. We were one of the lucky few who got to test it in its early stages and we are still learning our way around it and having fun in the process.
Google Plus maybe viewed by some as another time waster, specially if you are already updating your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Empire Avenue, Flickr and blogs. Today, Google plus has over 43 million users (source) compared to Facebook’s over 700 million users and Twitter’s over 250 million users (source) but is steadily growing. People think it’s a Facebook and Twitter killer, but we beg to disagree. We feel that the individual platforms have their own unique selling proposition.
One of the aims of PodJam.tv is to share our experience on the many social networks out there and in the video below we share our seven reasons you should give Google Plus a try. I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed producing it together.

We had a lot of fun when we made our video on What We Like Best About iPhone 4S and iOS 5. One of the biggest reasons we love using the iPhone is that it is simple and allows the user to be more productive. More so now with the addition of Siri. Siri is a great update for the iPhone 4S and has made it even more powerful than the previous generation iPhone. We know not everyone will want to upgrade to the new iPhone 4S but may like to experience how it feels to use a voice controlled virtual assistant. We decided to look for alternatives to Siri that would work on either the iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 plus other smart phones. We found two and thought we would demo and share these with you, our wonderful readers.
We found a paid app and a free one which we pitted against the Siri. The paid app is called Voice Actions which sells for $4.99 and a free one called Vlingo. Both apps are available in the iTunes app store. Watch the demo and see which one you like best. Please do tell us which one you like best.

Aside from our love of travel, photography and social media, one thing that connected us initially is our interest and love for Apple. Whether it be MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, apps, the iPad and of course the iPhone, we always end up having discussions on how it can improve our productivity. We love the sleek design and ease of use most of all. Every time there is an update for OS X , we always make sure to download and install. We spend hours talking about it and we always have a good time.
Last October 12, the latest iOS was launched (iOS5) and being the true Apple geeks that we are, we updated our iPhones and iPad and started enjoying the new features it offers. But the most fun we had was when the iPhone 4S was released last October 14 and Siri became the big buzz. For those of you who are still wondering what iOS 5 is all about and those of you who are still contemplating getting the iPhone 4S, here is what we like best about iPhone 4S and iOS 5.

We also had the pleasure to visit New York City a couple of weekends ago. We got the chance to enjoy good food, visit the Empire State Building, Central Park, Time Square and the Apple Store on 5th Avenue. Pictures and videos will be posted on a separate post here on PodJamTV so watch out for that. We both love to travel and now its even more fun being able to enjoy it together and we plan to share our travels with our readers and friends of PodJamTV.
We both participate and engage on three major social networking sites which include Twitter, Google + and Facebook and we are always on the look out for changes as technologies evolve. Music is a universal language. Sometimes even if people don’t agree much on views or opinions, it’s often music that brings people together. Aside from being Apple geeks, it’s our love for music that has brought us closer together. We express our feelings and comfort each other through music we share to each other on Facebook and Twitter. We’re thrilled when we see our friends chime in and join in the conversation by liking and commenting on the music we post on our walls or retweet with comments on Twitter.
What makes music sharing fun is that most apps allow one to share a particular song with a click of a button with friends and family. One objective we have established here at PodJam.tv is to test out apps and share them with our readers.
