What’s Your Take On The Facebook Timeline
  • Buffer

Before we discuss the main topic, we would like to thank 2morrowknight,  Amy Neumann and Yasamin Beitollahi for including PodJamTV’s very own Marty McPadden in the recent article:  in the Huffington Post.  We also had the pleasure to visit New York City a couple of weekends ago. We got the chance to enjoy good food, visit the Empire State Building, Central Park, Time Square and the Apple Store on 5th Avenue. Pictures and videos will be posted on a separate post here on PodJamTV so watch out for that.  We both love to travel and now its even more fun being able to enjoy it together and we plan to share our travels with our readers and friends of PodJamTV.

We both participate and engage on three major social networking sites which include Twitter, Google + and Facebook and we are always on the look out for changes as technologies evolve.  For our main topic, we would like to discuss the new update on Facebook which is called the Timeline.  In the video below, we discuss the many new features included in Facebook Timeline and some of our personal favorites. We invite your feedback as well. What’s your take on the New Facebook changes?

If you have not had the chance to activate the new Timeline yet, check out Mashable’s article How To Enable The New Facebook Timeline Now for a step by step guide to set up your own Timeline.  Go to this  .

what I like about the facebook timeline is that I can easily backtrack my activities in the past years, specially the most memorable ones. :)

My two sense worth first of all you are missing Linkedin in the list of networks. They are still a big player. Secondly I am in different on the Facebook timeline. The reality is all the changes have to do with Facebook doing data mining of their user’s data for targeted adds. The changes FB have been making actually make it easier to Mine data. The timeline is just an extension of all the back end changes being made really.

Thank you Rob. Good points and insights. LinkedIn is a good addition to the list.
