These days, it seems like almost everyone blogs. I read today that WordPress users write 42.6 million new blog posts each month (and that’s just WordPress). That’s a lot of writing! I’ve written over 4,000 blog posts, and I know what it’s like to squeeze blogging into an already busy schedule. I’ve learned a lot throughout the years about how to maintain a blogging pace, and I’d humbly like to offer my tips in the form of a survival guide for busy bloggers.
There was a time when I was writing 6 blog posts per day, but I could only keep up that pace for about a month at a time. My normal pace, which I kept up for several years, was 3 blog posts per day. I know professional bloggers who write more than that, but for me, 3 blog posts per day is a nice amount of writing if each post is only 300 – 1,000 words.
As most busy bloggers know, there are certain things that have to fall into place in order to maintain their blogging schedule. I could probably list 25 of those things, but for the purpose of this survival guide, I’ll just stick to my favorite 10.
